How lucky that my other half grew up in Manhattan and now we have many exciting reasons to go back. For example, this weekend we flew in to attend a super special wedding of Jason's childhood friend.
I am in love with this city. It has so much character and so much to offer that no matter how many times you have been there you always find something new.
Here are some high lights from this trip.
The extraordinary international modern art show that takes place once a year for the last 16 years! I was so excited to attend this iconic event. Besides the inspiring art, I loved watching the incredibly cool crowd that filled very quickly this creative space. And we saw Oscar winner Patricia Arquette who also came to explore the show.

- Grandma visit
Unfortunately, not every visit we get to see all our friends and family but we never miss on meeting Jason's 93 year old grandma Ida. She is my instant dose of inspiration. This time grandma welcomed us wearing super chic black & white kimono dress, make up and hair done to perfection. I decided from that moment and on to keep the chic at home as well, even if I am alone.

- 2nd Avenue Deli
If you are up for something different such as a picnic in Central Park, I would suggest you to make a stop at the 2nd Avenue Deli and get some cold cuts, knishes or any of your favorite kosher treats. I wasn't surprised that this deli been around so long as their food is simply spectacular. They also have a restaurant with a full menu if you prefer to dine in.
It was very short but very sweet trip. We enjoyed every minute of it and already looking forward for our next visit :)
