NEW YEAR, NEW MIRACLE AND RECAP OF 2014

It's time say goodbye to a wonderful year full of memories, but I am the most excited to welcome 2015 and soon in this post, you will find out why :)

2014 was truly an incredible year for me.

On the the professional level,  I celebrated 2 years for this blog which allowed me
to connect with so many of you around the world.

TEL AVIV COUTURE.COM continues to grow and this year we welcomed 15 new Israeli designers to the online boutique!

Amazing events, partnerships, travel and endless great opportunities that I just can't be more grateful for.

I would never have done any of this without you, my readers, clients, Tel Aviv Couture partners and of course my friends and family. I am so grateful to be able to do what I really love the most! And I can't thank you enough for this opportunity.

AND.... the biggest miracle of this year happened on the personal level :)
I am ecstatic to share with you that my little mini-me Katya will become a big sister to her baby brother in June 2015.

Jason and I are so excited for this new journey!
Of course I can't wait to style my new baby bump :) I will be sharing a lot of it with you on this blog!

Below are some highlights, most popular posts, favorite looks, events and my family snap shots.

DOSE MARKET CHICAGO

Living in Tel Aviv where fashion and food markets are very popular I was super excited to finally check out the famous Dose Market Chicago

Dose Market is a mega shopping event supporting all kinds of Chicago's' incredible talents. Dose has been founded by extraordinary entrepreneur April Francis four years ago and been rapidly growing since than.
The concept is brilliant! It's a great opportunity to meet freshly emerging vendors and their chance to make their mark and quick cash without going into crazy expense at the same time.

I had a blast mingling among happy vendors and guests, staffed myself  with yummy treats and drinks while enjoying amazing atmosphere, music and great affordable finds.
The event had an amazing turn out! Thousands came to HolyDosed, shop, eat, laugh and support. More than 100 diverse Dosers showcased their craft and some even had a "sold out" sign before the end of it!

Below are some snap shots and some of my favorite dosers and finds.

HOLIDAY PARTY

One of my favorite things during this season are all the holidays parties! Perfect reason to go out, celebrate and the best part is to dress up and shine!

This year, instead of hitting the stores, I decided to shop in my own closet. I am a strong believer that most of the time, best shopping is in your own closet. The key is just to get some inspiration and turn on your creative mode.

Party in white is always a good idea, especially in a winter. And combining it with black is maybe the safest but the chicest and my favorite combo.

I adore this maxi pleated sheer dress, (wore similar here). This style instantly makes me feel like a princess which is a perfect kind of holiday vibe:)

CHICAGO ZOOLIGHTS AND WINTER WONDERFEST

I have to admit that coming back from a month and half trip that I mostly spent in warm Israel, it was quite difficult to come back to freezing Chicago. However, instead of feeling negative about it I decided to change my attitude and to start exploring this festive holiday season in my beautiful home city.

Even if you don't have kids, Chicago ZooLights could be a different type of date. Besides the breathtaking scenery of lights, you can enjoy warm spiced wines, snacks and maybe even ice skating.
For kids, plenty of fun activities are offered including, holiday crafts, rides on the carousel and train, and on certain days you can meet Santa. We didn't have a chance to meet Santa and since I didn't want to disappoint my little toddler Katya, my husband asked a random sales guy that was wearing a Santa hat to give Katya a little gift that I prepared in advance for her. It was too cute and a perfect finale for a spectacular family time! We are so doing this again and very soon.

Chicago ZooLights open now through January 4.
Admission is FREE!

If you prefer to stay away from cold, Chicago Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier is an indoor magical holiday fest for the entire family. The place is filled with endless stunning holiday decorations, plenty of super cool activities, rides, slides, snacks, crafts, Santa and and so much more.
We started our day there early at 10 am, and could barely leave at 4. My daughter loved it so much that toward the end she was crawling from slide to slide as she had no energy to walk but still didn't want to leave. LOL and we were able to meet a real Santa :)

The Winter WonderFest is running now through Januray 11.
General admission $3.50 online and $5 at the door
Activity admission $23.50 online and $25 at the door

Although Katya looks terrified, she was super excited to meet Santa and more than anything excited about her gift:)

Thank you for reading my blog. I hope you enjoyed and come back soon.

xoxo
